What’s New

Chrome Local Network Access Notification

• Users on Chrome v142+ will now see an informational dialog when logging in, explaining that they must allow the new “Local network access” prompt so Badge can communicate with the Print Service. If this permission is denied, printing through the Print Service will not work.

Reusing Previously Enrolled Record UIDs

• When editing a record, UIDs that were historically associated with that record can now be reused. This is available in:
  • Secure Share
  • ID Print 2
  • Batch Print

Access Page

• The Users page has been renamed to Access, and now includes:
  • (Old) User management
  • (New) Authentication configuration (MFA or SSO [coming soon])

Enhancements

Refreshed Input Records Manual Upload UI

• The Input Records Manual Upload UI on the List Data Management page has been fully redesigned. Enhancements include:
  • Cleaner layout
  • Updated column-mapping layout when a file is uploaded

Secure Share - New Reserved Column: email

• Added a new reserved column type, email, to lists

Secure Share - Improved List Column Creation UX

• Replaced Insert Left and Insert Right with Add Column

• Columns are created by:

  • Selecting from a list of reserved columns, or

  • Typing a custom column name and specifying a position

Navigation Menu Updates

• Icons were removed from primary navigation menu links

• Dashboard has been renamed to Home

• The vertical three-dots icon has been replaced with a User Profile icon

Batch Print - Performance Fix

• Removed an extraneous EnumPrinters call when a record is selected
