Proper Handling of New Cards


Ensure you hold new cards by the sides and never directly touch the surface of the card. Oils or dirt from your hand can end up on the card and result in poor print quality or create mechanical printer issues.  



Using the above photos for reference, fanning out the cards is essential to prevent cards from sticking together from static.



Card Demagnetization 


RFID cards can get demagnetized and no longer scan if kept improperly. Be careful to keep cards away from the back of cell phones with NFC/MagSafe as it can interrupt the RFID signal of the cards.
