Clients must manually clean the rollers to ensure the Evolis Primacy is dust-free and prints quality ID cards.
Required Items: Alcohol Wipes, Alcohol Swab, Masking Tape
1. Remove cards and the ribbon from printer
2. Open the top cover > Remove the cleaning roller by pinching the lever next to the cleaning roller. Press down on the mount to rotate it 180 degrees, two rollers are found underneath.
3. Press and hold the power button to manually spin the rollers
4. Wipe the indicated rollers with the alcohol wipes

5. Cut a section of masking tape > Press the middle of the tape onto the table and pull down on the ends.
6. Stick the adhesive side tape on the table
7. Roll the cleaning roller back and forth while holding the end of the tape

8. Set the cleaning roller back in the printer
9. Gently clean the printhead with the alcohol swab
10. Place the ribbon and cards back in the printer > Print a card to ensure printer is functioning and able to print.
